Regional Day Pass

One pass. Every ride. CTA, Metra, and Pace are excited to announce the new Regional Day Pass, providing unlimited rides on all three services for one day. This new discounted pass is available to all riders and includes a Metra Day Pass and unlimited rides on CTA and Pace for 24 hours.

Everything you need to know about the new Regional Day Pass

1. The Regional Day Pass is only available in the Ventra app.
2. Riders must first purchase a Metra Day Pass with their zones of choice. Upon purchase, they will have the option to add on the Regional Day Pass.
3. The Regional Day Pass is valid for one day from activation.*
4. The Regional Day Pass can be used on Pace Premium Routes with an additional transfer fee.
5. All unused Regional Day Passes expire within 14 days.

* The Regional Day Pass can be used on Metra service until 3 a.m. after ticket launch and on CTA and Pace for 24-hours after first tap.

How to buy the Regional Day Pass on the Ventra app

Upon purchase of a Metra Day Pass through the Ventra app, riders will be offered the option to add a Regional Day Pass for unlimited rides on CTA and Pace. Please note that riders MUST have a registered Ventra Card in their Ventra account to buy a Regional Day Pass.
