To ensure your tickets are ready when you're on the go, we recommend transferring your tickets prior to your commute.
If your phone has automatic updates enabled, the new Ventra app will automatically update on your device. The new app has a blue icon, while the old app has a white icon. If you don’t have automatic updates enabled, download the new version from the App Store or Google Play. Make sure to have your existing Ventra username and password handy, as you’ll need them when you first log in.

If you don’t have automatic updates enabled, no problem! You can manually update your app from your device’s app store. Visit Apple’s App Store or the Google Play Store to download the new Ventra app.

No problem, we’ve got you! The first person to log in to the new app will have all Metra mobile tickets associated with that Ventra account transferred to their phone. Once the tickets are on their phone, the transfer process to bring them to a second person’s phone is simple.
