Through Chicago Moves, Mayor Lori Lightfoot, the City of Chicago (City) and the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) are partnering to provide $5 million in Ventra transit value to 100,000 Chicagoans to encourage transit ridership during this time of incredibly high gas prices.

As Chicagoans visit family and friends and return to the office, stores, and activities they love, they shouldn’t have to worry about skyrocketing gas prices, but instead Chicagoans should select the most cost-efficient mode of transportation - CTA buses and trains.
